Human and Civil Rights for Marginalized Communities

IVLP Project for Thailand (4) with IIE and CBM International House. Panel with Kalamazoo Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation and Charlotte, NC NAACP June 10.

This virtual project will help human rights practitioners and local advocates for marginalized communities gain expertise in developing strategies to advocate for their rights and present their demands to government and social actors.  Project participants will explore creative approaches to celebrating diversity; promoting inclusive public attitudes; addressing sensitive issues by working across institutional lines and expanding collaborative networks; and defending the rights of religious and ethnic minorities, refugees, displaced persons, and other vulnerable populations.
