This virtual project will explore models of technology commercialization in the United States and ways to successfully transfer scientific discoveries and technological breakthroughs to market.  Participants will examine legal and regulatory frameworks as well as management and marketing strategies used to assess and develop innovations in diverse sectors such as agricultural technology, information and telecommunications, biotechnology, health, and advanced manufacturing.  They will observe initiatives and institutional arrangements that connect universities, businesses, industries, and government agencies to promote cooperation in research and development and upgrade innovation infrastructures.
